Our song starts on a starry night A windswept beach and a driftwood fire The colours explode & spirit takes flight. All the way, we went all the way. Our song ends in a sad café. A hundred times, a hundred different days. I find myself on the road again - but it’s okay. I’m on my way. The cold wind blows and the whitecaps fly. Perfection will always be denied - as long as we cling to the morning sky. As long as we cling to “you and I.” As long as I cling to you. As above, so is it below - the land enfolds the river’s flow. So throw away your sad little halo ‘Cause only the light heart learns to fly. The golden wheel turns and spins. Bodies entwined - hearts and skin. This song ends and the next one begins.
